Yes.  We are now EBay compatible, and so when listing your item, you just need to list your EBay Item number when prompted to do so, and all the information from EBay comes through automatically, making it easier for you. 

We provide a Feedback rating system, which allows users to give feedback on Transport Providers on completion of a job.  This helps future users in choosing a transport provider, as it ads to their credibility.  Transbid sends out Activation letters when a new Transport Provider registers on the site, which requires the provider to log in and enter an activation code, in order for their account to be fully set up.  This confirms their location and also ads to their credibility.

No.  This is totally up to yourself.  However we strongly recommend you upload a photo if you have one available, as this increases the views on your auction, hence increasing the bids.  A PHOTO MEANS VIEWS.  

At TRANSBID our primary goal was to make the website as user friendly as possible. Listing an item as been made simple. As you list an item it will bring you on to the next step advising you with clear instructions

The 4 steps are

1.Choose a category (e.g. Furniture , freight etc)

2.Describe what you need transported - Upload a picture and you will recieve more quotes

3. Enter where the collection and delivery are and advise dates and be specific if required

4. Enter your contact details and then sit back and wait for quotes

When you accept a bid, you will be directed into the payements page to pay your deposit to Transbid.  You have the option to pay via paypal, or if you dont have a paypal account you can pay as a paypal guest using a credit card.  Your deposit will then be deducted from the overall accepted bid, and the balance is payable direct to the transport provider in whichever means agreed between both parties.  

*The Final amount you agree on Transbid is the Final amount you pay.... we have no hidden extras. 

You can keep receiving quotes up until the end date for the job.  We expect you should receive at least 3 bids, but this can vary.  We would recommend you give enough time for a few bids to be entered, this will give you a better chance of receiving competitive quotes.

To be Transbid accredited, a transport provider must provide Transbid with evidence of one of the following documents:

- Copy of Goods in transit Insurance certificate

- Company registration certificate (if applicable)

- VAT registration certificate (if applicable)

- Photocopy of passport

We strongly recomment all transport providers to become transbid accredited.  We believe this will increase their personal credibility as a transport provider, and encourage customers to accept bids.  After all, the more you know about somebody, the better you feel about dealing with them. For this reason we have also added the option for Transport Providers to upload a photo of themselves or staff members, we always like to put a face to a name. 

We would recommend you check the Transport Providers stipulated level of Insurance before accepting their quote.
